What is the Progressive EMB Church?

It is a local New Testament Church.

A church is not just a building or an ecclesiastical hierarchy, but a local call out body of believers assembled in the name of Jesus Christ. We assemble for praise, worship, teaching, inspiration, winning of the lost and food for the soul.

What is the purpose of the Progressive EMB Church and why are we here?

We are here to proclaim the Gospel, Good News (the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ), to the unsaved. We are here to instruct believers in obedience and service.

The great commission to the church that plainly tells its purpose is found in Matthew 28: 19-20

“Go ye therefore and teach all nations, Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: an lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

 Why attend the Progressive EMB Church?

If you are saved:

• To worship God.

• To grow in strength and be better fit for service.

• To show others by the testimony of your support that you believe what we teach.

If you are unsaved:

• To hear the Good News.

• To realize the need for Jesus Christ in your life.

• To find encouragement, purpose and direction.

• To seek and find salvation.

A – “Acknowledge that you are a sinner. There is none that seeketh after God.”

B – “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

(Acts 16:31)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
